Kerala Press Academy at a glance

Kerala Press Academy is a joint venture of the Government of Kerala, Kerala Union of Working Journalists (KUWJ) and Indian Newspaper Society (INS). It was established in 1979 and is located in Kochi, Kerala.

The Academy aims to promote professionalism among Media practitioners and to achieve this objective; it has set up the Institute of Communication, which offers the following courses:

Post Graduate Diploma in Journalism and Communication, Post Graduate Diploma in Public Relations and Advertising, and Certificate Course in Communicative English

The Academy organizes seminars and memorial lectures periodically and has instituted a fellowship for research in Mass Media in Kerala.
